Lighting & Camera
This project explores how lighting and camera systems can transform the presentation of a game environment in Unreal Engine. Using a base scene provided by my instructor, I established the final visual atmosphere through the placement of directional, rect, point, and sky lights, supported by fog and post processing adjustments to improve depth and tone. I then created a cinematic walkthrough using some Cine Camera Actors with rails and crane rigs to control motion and framing. The result is a scene study that demonstrates my approach to environmental storytelling, mood construction, and real time cinematic staging.
Unreal Game Clip
This project is a small interactive barrel explosion game developed in Unreal Engine. I created the barrel model in Autodesk Maya, textured it in Adobe Substance 3D Painter, and imported the asset into Unreal to build the final experience. The project features a simple gameplay loop where a barrel drops from above, the player can trigger its explosion through a Boom UI button, and a new barrel is then regenerated. I also designed a basic exit flow through a Leave button and included a moving truck element to give the scene more activity and life. This project allowed me to combine 3D asset creation, texturing, engine integration, UI interaction, and simple gameplay scripting into one complete prototype.
